The Compounding Shop, Inc. respects the privacy of personal information and understands the importance of keeping this information confidential and secure. As a pharmacy, we collect the minimum necessary personal information necessary to safely and accurately process prescriptions and file some insurance claims. We do not process private insurance claims electronically.

We treat personal information securely and confidentially. We limit access to personal information to only those persons who need to know personal information to provide support services to our customers.These individuals are trained on the importance of safeguarding personal information and must comply with our procedures and applicable laws. We meet strict physical, electronic and procedural security standards to protect the personal information and maintain internal procedures to promote the integrity and accuracy of that information.
Disclosure of Personal Information:
We may share any of the personal information we collect (as described above) with entities or individuals as permitted by law. This could include our attorney(s), accountant(s) and auditor(s), a customers authorized representative, healthcare providers, third party administrators, and law enforcement.
Individual Rights to Access and Correct Personal Information:
Upon written request, we have procedures in place to allow you, or your representative, to have access to your personal information we collect. Other information we may collect in anticipation of a legal claim or lawsuit may not be available.
Integrity of Information:
We have procedures in place to protect personal information from being stolen or viewed by an unauthorized individual using the pharmacy network or the Internet. It may be necessary for our support staff to gain access to the pharmacies database to effectively diagnose software problems. Access to the database may be obtained via a modem, the Internet, or by requesting a backup of the data.

We may amend our privacy policy from time to time. Our current policy will be provided to you as prescriptions are filled, or it can be mail upon request at no charge.
